Last Call for Fall – Backpacking on the Ice Age Trail

Dates: November 10-11, 2018

Location: Glenbeulah, WI

This may be one of our last opportunities to enjoy the beautiful fall colors and ideal camping weather. Come on out and enjoy a fun and challenging trip along Wisconsin’s National Scenic Ice Age Trail.

Saturday: We will meet at the designated trailhead by 11am and shuttle vehicles to our starting point. From there we will hike approximately 5-7 miles, stopping for lunch at the halfway point, before setting up camp at one of the shelters along the trail. We can then enjoy some good food and conversation around the campfire before settling in for the night (or early morning depending on how much fun we’re having).

Sunday: After breakfast, we will break down camp before continuing down the trail to our original meeting point – approximately 4-6 miles. We will then have the option to meet at a local establishment for lunch before heading home.
