Dates: September 29th-30th, 2018

Location: Greenbush Group Camp – Glenbeulah, WI

Join us for the first ever Ice Age Trail & Chill – Fall Backpack & Camping Trip. We have reserved a big group site so everyone can spread out, set up their big, comfy tents and hang around the fire for some good food, company & conversation. This is just the beginning of the beautiful, fall camping weather, and we’d like you to join us to help kick off the season!

This will be a great opportunity to meet fellow members of the group and discuss trip ideas for the upcoming year. Baked apple donuts, hot apple cider, pie iron cinnamon roles and more will be shared around the campfire. Feel free to bring your favorite recipes to share with the group. As always, a guided night hike will be offered for those who are interested.

This will be a car camping event with an optional backpacking component. I will be leading a hike into our group campsite from within the Parnell & Greenbush segments of the Ice Age Trail. The hike will consist of 4-6 miles, beginning at the Parnell Tower Loop Trail and hiking north to the Greenbush Group Camp. You can either park your car at the Greenbush camp or hike back down to the Parnell Tower parking lot the following morning. Additional information will be sent out to those of you interested in joining this portion of the trip. Anyone not interested in hiking can show up directly to the campsite anytime after 3pm.

AS ALWAYS >>> A recommended gear list specifically for this trip will be sent out upon registration.
